  October~Breast Cancer Awareness Month~~ I challenge the posters here!

  just a reminder to get your mammo, at least by the end of the year.. the komen foundation has done so much for breast cancer awareness..........is anyone doing the race for the cure in their area?

  Don't know how to post a pink ribbon but this thread has my support. Had the girls checked out two months ago and I'm ok. Finding a lump was very scary. Have a lot a cancer in my family history on both sides of the family.

  Children at the meetings, how did you cope

  my son was about 5 years old when we stopped going to the meetings.

  the other day i asked him what he remembers about them (his now 14 years old).

  he remembered the puzzles i bought him to play with during the meetings.. he remembered that i packed a sandwich and some juice for him to eat in case he got hungry.. when he got board i use to take him outside for a walk around the kh garden.

  not to be mean but why should i care that you have 3,000 posts?

  this yet again proves how useless even making stats like this public are.

  it just gives people ammo to say, "i have 25,000 posts so obviously i am more vested in this board then you".

  This is the reply I got from one of the posters cause he didn't like what I had to say! So yes I think that some posters take the numbers to heart!
